First Class Preschool
Ducks Springs Elementary currently has openings in our First Class Preschool classrooms for children that have turned four on or before 09/01/2021. Etowah County Schools Kindergarten Registration- Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
Please bring your child's Blue Immunization Form (available from your pediatrician or the Health Department), Certified Birth Certificate or another form of certificate for age verification, valid Social Security Card (Voluntary), two Proofs of Residence, and Proof of Custody when warranted. Alabama law provides that a child must be five years of age on or before September 1st to be eligible to attend kindergarten.

Professional Development Exchange/Variance Day request forms must be completed and submitted to the Central Office for approval by or before May 31, 2021.
If you receive a stipend to attend a workshop, the activity cannot be used for a Professional Development Exchange Day. College Courses and eLearning Courses cannot be used for a Professional Development Exchange Day. In order to use an activity for a Professional Development Exchange Day, the activity must be completed after the school year ends and before the beginning of the next school year. Therefore, Saturday activities attended during the school year cannot be exchanged for a Professional Development Exchange Day.
