Sixth grade is a very important transition into middle school.  Students will be making decisions this year that will effect their future in the years to come.  Upon entering sixth grade, students will be responsible for every aspect of their school work.  Homework is given every night, however, students are given time to complete most homework before they leave school.  The most apparent change in the curriculum will be in the area of math.  Students will begin an introduction to algebra and geometry.  The skills taught in the sixth grade are very important and will aide the students in being successful in coming grades.
